Hey guys, im a forum regular on heresyonline (if any of you guys know it) and was just a bit tired of not a lot of LOTR talk as im a huge fan (as well as 40k) Im planning on starting a small force from the Pinnath Gelin (the Gondorian fiefdom) and im always up for discussion about the SBG or any of Tolikens works.

good to know DMS. ive been out of the hobby for a few years, then got back into 40k, found my old stash of LOTR models and rekindled my love for this game!

And you've picked the perfect time to re-enter Middle earth on the brink of the Hobbit release and lets hope for some nice new models. Look forwar to seeing your fiefdoms take shape. I have a clansmen of Lamedon army in the planning stage and have just bought some great sculpts of Scottish Clansmen from ebob miniatures to bulk out my force a little and break up the monotony of painting multiples of the same three GW poses.

Constantine, I was thinking of using some of the general Minas Tirith warriors for a sort of 'elite' around my Hirluin, with the bulk of the soldiers being made up of rangers and warriors of Arnor, with some conversions.
