I would like to say congrats to all! Its a pity i can only choose one mini. I liked at least 8 of the mages but i had only one vote. I hope you keep this up! Great work mates!!!

A very close competition folks - many identical figures with known paint schemes. Some great basing. I know I bang on about this a bit but I will say it again - the clarity of the photos makes for better judging. I narrowed it down to 4, picked one and would have offered 2nd, 3rd and 4th markings to the others if that were available. Well done everyone for making this a very, very tight contest!

Wow. Very well done, everyone. In the end I voted for MacGothmog's Gandalf.

I don't know how I am supposed to choose only one entry. Is it my imagination or are the entries in each competition get progressively better? I cannot decide... I'll have to think about it and vote another day. :meh:

Very well done everybody. It was hard to choose between a few but i went for Wah Wings Gandalf for the great lighting techniques used. Glimmering in the moonlight is awesome!

Wonderful entries by all! 8) Many stuck out to me and I too wish I could vote for more than one. I really loved the base for Monotone_Matt's Gandalf so voted for his. A very nice touch. :)

Oh bother. Sorry Leonardis I'm not sure what happened there. Turns out my tiredness is coming through in my posts...

I've added Floi and reset the voting. I'm very sorry for this inconvenience to those who have already voted. Please vote again. Voting will now end on the 15th November instead!

A lot of great entries again this month. In the end three stuck out a lot.

MacGothmog, very, very, very good highlighting and all-round painting, but I don't know why, it doesn't have the "Wow"-factor for me. Still, if I ever get near as good, I'll call my life complete.
PowerofWill: That is the best OSL ever. The fire on the base I like a little bit less though.
Wah Wing: I'm really in love with this mini. The moonlight effect is just perfect, brilliant, I love it! You got my vote.

Yep MacGothmog's is the obvious choice, that's the closest to perfection you can get. Although I almost felt like voting for Short Strider's life like Ian Mckellan Gandalf. Good job to the rest of you guys, I do see vast improvements in some of the works compared to the previous entries.
