Let’s see if I get this: Dave is doing these fantastic GW surpassing & outshining sculpts… Next, he sends these single, unique minis to DMS who applies a Golden Demon worthy coat of paint. Then, for some at least, it’s off again to a mystery customer who… puts them away in a drawer? A box?
Lost! Lost, my Precious!!!
What has happened to the Stone Giant? Is he gonna produce any offspring? Any chance of meeting a descendant in the Hall of Fame at Lenton? (There’s a stray goat in the best of families).
Well, it seems that I have found the answer:

But you would all want one for around £30 and it just would not be cost effective to mould, produce, and package them at that price. Plus it would not be fair for DMS to fork out for the initial commission fee only to see much cheaper reproductions appear shortly afterwards.
DMS doesn't simply buy mini's from me, He basically hires me to labouriously create spiffy miniatures for him that no-one else on the planet own. A unique piece of art if you like. You will have to ask him of course but I think he understands just what skill, time, patience and effort is required to produce scratch sculpts to a reasonable standard. And that is why commissioned pieces appear so expensive when compared with factory churned out castings.
Even more difficult than sculpting these models is, probably, putting them in an envelope and see them off...
Unless, of course, you can trust that the next artist is raising your work to an even higher level!

Purchasing a mini, and hiring a sculptor to create one for you are two quite different things I hope you'll appreciate.
Well done, both!
