This is awesome. Are the roofs removable? (Can you play inside the buildings, or just the outside?) Are you going to do the interiors, or just leave them?

I'm looking forward to some ruins....

Cheers guys

Now I'm not too sure about this, does this look Gondor/Osgiliath enough? When painted the beams would be the same stone colour, not wooden supports but it looks sort of odd for a Gondor building.

Yeah it's a doubt for me, I don't know it either, maybe if it's painted it will look nice, so you might wanna make a little test piece, not as big as this, but just a part of wall with those beams.

I think the horizontal wooden beams more so the bottom one looks fine - once painted they will look like huge stone slabs supporting the weight of the upper walls above the door. The vertical beams and the upper horizontal are a little large to have been placed in position in one go. Maybe if you scored the vertical beam into three blocks rather than the one block running the entire height of the wall it would ease your doubts. The upper horizontal beam could simply have a line scored in the middle dividing it into 2 sections instead of the one. Looks like Minas Tirith / Osgiliath tho Drum no doubt about that. Inspiring as always keep going!

I totally agree with DMS on that. Adding scores will definitely make it more believable. :-D

Right I've followed your advice and your right it does fit better. Also sorry for the very late reply, been quite busy this past week. Here's what I've got done anyway, still have to add some joints in the wood along the other sides. What cha think?

Great work.
And the beams don't look out of place at all, this way.
It has a bit of an Italian feel to it.

I've had some time to work more on the Minas Tirith Buildings so I have quite a large update. I'm hoping to make a guide on these as this time I thought ahead and took tons of pictures of my progress. This ones the same design but a slightly different layout. This time I have detail on all sides so this will be a model that will go in the center of the gaming board. Tell me what you think guys - constructive criticism is always welcome! :D

2 done - half a dozen more to go :!:
