Good conversions!

I got Perry Wars of the Roses for fiefdoms too! They're excellent figures.

Some simply fantastic conversions; simply brilliant Trolls, nice SKoDA idea, love the Black Guards and Mordor Uruks, plan to do similar in the next few months. Nice painting too on Denethor's face. The one conversion I dislike is the Easterling, because It is IMO demeaning to turn a Captain into something as lowly as a banner bearer.

Some great work, looking forward to more. :)

Historically, banner beares were always officers (the ensigns). In some armies they even were equal in rank to a captain, so they are certainly not "lowly"

Very nice conversions and excellent painting on Denethor and Boromir. A thousand times better then my first attempts at painting.

If you're talking historically then its different altogether, in 1066: Battle for Middle Earth, King Harold carried a Banne (though its not 100% accurate obviously)

Gamingwise, banners are rubbish in comparison to Banner Bearers, and Easterling Captains are really cool, which is why.

I really like your Fiefdoms conversions! The Dol Amroth helmets look so much better than the old metal ones! Really like the Men at arms and also the osgiliath veterans, thanks for sharing!

You seem to be very resourceful.

You make your models look completely different even with the simplest yet most effective conversions. I will be keeping an eye on this thread.

Say, where did you get the Men at arms of Dol Amroth from?
