I like it. Nice theme but also pretty solid. :)

No, you can never have too many bows.

Nice.

Are the Osgilith Vets worth it? Save 6 points if you make them 12 Minas Tirth with S & S....so you can give your Rangers of Ithillan spears. Your numbers did not seem to work (probably my mistake...?) until I dropped a Knight, making it 5 w/shield and 2 w/ no shield. Consider dropping another Knight to give shields to Madril's WB. With adjustments:

WB 1 Faramir armourd horse, h. armour, lance, shield
12 WoMT with Spear & Shield

WB2 Damrod
10 Rangers of Illthian w/ Spear

WB 3 King of Men armoured horse, h. armour, lance, shield
5 Knights of MT w/ Shield
1 Knight of MT

WB 4 Madril
12 WoMT with Spear and Shield

WB 5 Beregond
6 Citadel Guard w/ Bow

Option: trade in your Illthan Rangers for Rangers of Gondor to save points enough to get fully shielded Knights plus a Fountain Court Guard...or spears for your Citadel archers...or add a Knight and trim a few points elsewhere.

Hope this helps.

I meant rangers of ithilien the normal rangers, not that funny upgrade
I think Osgiliath veteran are totally worth their cost ( +1 Courage is also a nice upgrade)

Do you use archers as support units with spear? I've never done that, is it effective? Usually I don't send them in battle
Also could use some GOtFC but it would be against the theme of the army

My philosophy is you can never have too many spears :) At some point you will run out of targets to shoot, or you will yourself in a pinch where support can save the day. Spears are better than higher Fight as an odds changer, you just can't shoot and support in the same turn.

As for sending them into battle, why not, especially after shooting opportunities are reduced? They have F4 for a reason. You do get that with your vets if they're near Faramir, but not everyone can fit under his umbrella, and having natural F4 on the flanks might be useful.

Yes well 12 vets in 6" i think it's not too hard, for the rangers you're right but, if they have F4, why use them as support units? Of course they guarantee ( don't know the spelling, sorry :) ) more manoeuvrability but i'm paying 9 pts for a model not too performing ( 9pts= wood elf+elf bow )
Moreover, I have Madril's band with only spear soldier, meant to support vets ( and rangers)

Because of the low D. A supported WoMT has better odds than a lone F4 against F3 or F4, but is harder to kill (50% or 33%, depending on whether you're facing S3 or S4). IIRC, putting the ranger in front boosts your odds of winning the fight by 16%, but I'm not sure that makes up for the higher survivability of WoMT, plus you lose your shooting. I wasn't suggesting throwing a hole line of them into battle, but on the flanks, or to add numbers to a critical fight, I wouldn't hesitate throwing them into base contact.
