Finally got the super glue, now lets see if I can finsh him off before the deadline....

Finished some painting.... (Wip shot front and back)

....And done. The highlights are not showing up on the pictures, especially the blue ones. :( Admitedly I do go for a more subtle, realistic approach, but they are definitely better in real life.

A front view, back view, and not so great picture, but it's with the base done. :)

Some really great work here guys. Unfortunately I got really bored with Gimli (it happens sometimes when needing to paint to the films' pre-existing colour schemes) and never finished either of my three, and my wife pretty much only paints when I do, and with work tomorrow, none of the above will be finished in time for the deadline. I haven't been able to bring myself to do any work on my figs in a couple of weeks now. bleh

... And I wanted to paint my Gimli for a long time now. This would have been a great opportunity, at least i'll get to see your minis and get some inspiration! Did you guys check out the Mounted Arwen on What's New Today on the GW site?

I missed the deadline, still need to do base and shield for my dwarfy. At least now I can skip most of the pesky detailing...

I don't have a Sauron. But if I find a reasonably priced one, sure.

I got distracted by a few things (Liverpool winning, other models) so my Gimli is pretty much still waiting and will stay like that for some time :P

Good luck to all participants!

I've almost finished collecting all the images and uploading them but I'm away from tomorrow until Sunday so the voting won't be up until then. Sorry to keep you all waiting, but there's nothing like a bit of suspense :P
