Having signed up to the site a few year ago but never really being active at all, I've decided to finally start up a WIP to show my work.
I thought I'd start of with by showing part of my Mordor army for WOTR.
Theres more to come, but this is all I was able to photo today.

Appologies for the poor camarawork, these were taken using my Ipod pretty quickly so I could just get some stuff on here, but I'll be using my dads camera in future:

Trolls!!:

Warg Riders:

Morannon Orcs:

I appreciate these arn't great photos and its hard to see any detail, but once i get to use my dad's camara then they will hopefully be alot better.

Any comments/suggestions?

Thanks for looking,
Galad. :)

Great looking trolls, warg riders and orcs. It's a shame about the blurriness on some of the images.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! :)

Will try and get better quality photo's later today, trying to learn how to use GIMP is harder than it seems... (or maybe thats just me!)

Currently on the painting area are some haradhrim and some black guard of barad dur.

Any ideas for a good paint scheme for the haradhrim?
I painted my Easterlings in a green and silver style, just not sure what to do with my haradhrim, especially because I don't really like the generic red/purple idea that GW came up with.... :x

Thanks,
Galad.

Update!!!

Just a test of the camara really, think it came out quite good, but could be better. Any tips?

This is an orc captain I painted up nearly a hear ago, I think I've got a little better with my painting, and I'm hoping this thread will help me alot.

So any tips/critic are welcome.

Thanks
Galad

Took the words right out of my mouth! I'm diverting from the topic a bit but Middlesbrough should never have changed that badge for the current one imo.

For the pictures maybe try to zoom in a bit more and crop the images to remove some excess background. I use picasa 3 for that, its a free program I got from google which is quite good. It isn't easy though, some of my pictures aren't great. Nice collection of trolls btw 8)

Haha thanks for the tips mate :) Will be an interesting match up if Middlesbrough get into the next round of the FA Cup and play the gunners... :D

Just a little update, been working on my Haradhrim force, waiting for the new books to come out before I write a definative army list, but here are my finished Abrakhan Guard (done a couple of weeks ago.) and my current project, 24 Haradhrim warriors which need to be primed and painted up. The last couple of pics are a bit fuzzy, I think i moved my hand to much whilst taking them.

And whats now on my painting desk;

I'm hoping to get these finished up within a couple of weeks, in time really for the new releases.
Anyway, Comments/critic is always welcome.

Thanks for looking
Galad. :)

Nice Abrakhan Guards, I personally fingd they look better with much darker skin, but your painting does not exactly make them klook bad (in other word they look good 8) )
