It seems a fair amount, allows people to show their entry from front back and sides.

I just finished my banner bearer, finally! Here are a couple pics.

I went for a wet looking fresh out of the rain look on this one. I was going to try and sculpt raindrops, but I don't have anymore greenstuff, and I don't have enough money to buy more so this'll have to do. I hope you like it!

Wow!! That banner really does look weathered and as if it's been rained on! The skin seemed a bit shiny but I then realized it enforces the rain concept! :) as for the blonde Uruk hair it is a really cool break from normal and I'm all for it!

I only hope my Captain can stand by these awesome photos without to much embarrassment! Good work from everyone.

I'm sure it will, but even so, the challenge isn't about winning, it's about the taking part and being a part of this community :)

I'm having troubles uploading my pic to my album. :-X It's size is 893 KB and it's dimensions are 854 x 452. And still it says that it's too big. :x Is this a glitch or is my pic actually still too big?

When uploading a new image it says the maximum file size is 512000 bytes which is 4000 KB and your image is within the width and height restrictions (unless 854 pixels is the height, in which case it is too tall) so I'd say it is a temporary glitch. I assume it is an accepted file type?

You could try compressing the image file. If that doesn't work, you could also resize the image so it's a bit smaller and upload it to Photobucket then post your image from there.

Actually 512000 bytes is the equivalent of 500KB. As Sir Richard's file size is 893KB it is oversized.

I knew that as well being recently trained in computer maintenance. Never trust me to fix a computer I guess  Far too tired, it seems I need to go and get myself a coffee to wake me up :P

Yes, Sir Richard you need to compress your image file to make it less than 500KB, then you will be able to upload it to the gallery.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

There are some fantastic miniatures in this thread, and I know that there will be many more before all is said and done!

Well, here's an update on my Lurtz.
ImageImage

I recently painted the eyes, White Hand, and touched up his mouth so all that's left is to do the base.
I'll get pics as soon as that's done.
Great entries so far! 8)

Excellent work Wah Wing.

For WIP pictures of mine check my WIP thread in the WIP forum, I'll post the finished result here when I get it done.
