Made some more progress today....

Basing -- finished
Skin -- finished
Cloth -- finished
Metal -- basecoated & washed

I'm shooting to have these done in the next couple of days. I'm feeling the need to paint some Space Marines, but I won't start on them until I finish this challenge.

we could always make a splinter painting challenge :twisted: with the 20 people who want to paint command units in a seperate unofficial challenge... :legolas:

Yep, that's the idea. I want to make it so that eventually all of the ideas for Special Challenges get chosen and none get left behind and forgotten about, so it might not be untill September of 2012 (of course it could be sooner, or later) but it will eventually win a poll.

I'm starting to wonder if I'll paint eyes on this guy...its far from being a talent of mine. We shall see when the time comes. WIP Photos by tomorrow evening!

That's absolutely amazing! The painting is top notch and the base finishes it off nicely, great job!

As for the images, don't worry all will be accepted. However I have noticed that there is no maximum amount of images permitted in the rules so I might adjust them for future challenges to 4 images per final entry.
