Yeah the pictures are an improvement Wah Wing, showcases your model a lot better. And eyes are a bit of a problem, for me as well. Your Aragorn has a bulging eye, no matter the rest of your model looks great. I'm afraid that MacGothmog's entry will blow the rest of us away though, then we must get him to tell us his secret painting techniques.

Well done to everyone. Awesome entries so far. With such great painting I am happy just to help make up the numbers. I've done the best I can with mine. Yes, I went overboard with the base, but heh - it was fun (I think I enjoy building terrain more than painting!). Piccs below.

Simply brilliant! The best conversions are always the one that are simple but effective. It is such a great base as well. My money is on this one. You should be proud!

I've finished painting, but I can't seem to upload my photo. Any ideas?

Some of the work here makes my brushwork feel hopelessly clumsy. But here's my Elessar, I have no more time for working on him cos tomorrow morning we're off to Estonia.

Some more fantastic entries. Great detail on all of these. Turning into an awesome comp.

Great work guys. And good job on your mounted Aragorn Ares B, though I wish the picture was a little brighter I can still make out the great detail you have.

Great work Wouter. Love the shading and highlighting on the tunic and face. You have a really unique style and I like it.

Wow, quite a competition! Looks like everyone has had a spare Aragorn hidden somewhere...

Here is my Aragorn. I'm building an Amon Hen diorama and he will be placed there so he's not glued to the base and not properly based. If we are going to have some more Amon Hen characters in the future challenges I may even be able to finish the diorama some day. :)

Yeah and you had Boromir previously not too long ago, so that's three amon hen participants already.
