- May a shieldbearer call the heroic fight action even he's in combat?
- If the protected hero and shieldbearer are in the same multiple combat, must they stay together?

Well... that's the only time one can call a heroic fight.

Yeah, but if the hero moves first then the shieldbearer will follow after him.

Thanks

- rules 'However, the Shieldbearer must use the free move to reach the protected Hero’sfight, if possible' doesn't this mean that if the shieldbearer is not in combat, he must join the protected hero in combat?
But what if the shieldbearer is in another combat?

- Nomally the player with priority must seperate multiple combats, so in case with the protected hero and shielbearer -> not

It means that if your shield bearer is in a combat near your hero who is also in a combat
The shield bearer must call a heroic combat and try to get to the combat involving the hero.

If you had a situation where you charged a model with the shield bearer and hero then your opponent counter charged your hero then...
1) you would split the fight into two one vs one situations.
2) the shield bearer would call a heroic combat
3) if he wins and kills he would then join the hero's combat

If I follow your thought...

If your Hero and your Shield Bearer are both engaged in separate combat, and the Shield Bearer is within 3 inches of the Hero, then do the fight with the Shield Bearer first by declaring Heroic Fight (hopefully you win the fight) then move the Shield Bearer into the Hero's fight. In which you will peel off 1 attacker while the Hero deals with the rest.
