Sure, I'll do that if you want! It might take some days, I ran out of drills for pinning, I'll have to pick some up one of these days

I found a little drill, still lying around, so here's how I made these statues:

First of all, take dwarf king model and one of the pedestals from Thormarillion like I did, here's a link http://www.thomarillion.de/index.php?seite=katalog&modell=statuensockel_eckig&pos=1&sprache=gb_&PHPSESSID=a615f7e98ff95d435209301563447195

Cut of the piece of metal from the model which you normally put in the base
Image

Drill a hole in the feet of the model and also in the pedestal, make sure the model fits on the pedestal later. Put a piece of iron wire in the hole in the pedestal once you've drilled the holes and glue it.
Image

Now, put the model on the pedestals and glue the pins in the feet. You are almost finished now.
Image

Take out your hobby knife and cut of some of the edges of the pedestal and also cut some pieces of the dwarf king model, you could also use a heavy object to crush the model, doing this will show how the goblins brutely damaged the statues of the dwarves. Cutting of axes or hands etc might be the easiest way.
Image

The statue is finishe now, all you need to do is paint it! I don't know which paints to use since I don't use GW's but if I look at the colours on a website, you should use this: undercoat with Chaos Black, then paint the whole statue with Codex Grey and finally add a drybrush of Fortress Grey. I don't know if it's correct, I use a more darker colour than Codex Grey first, but I don't see anything better than that, you should test some things out yourself.

Here's a picture of the statues I allready made (not all finished ofcourse):

Great work on the statues they will be very effective 8) even if they are pretty expensive using metals for them.
Looking forward to seeing some more.
