Even though I don't collect them, I think the Numenoreans are absolutely full of untapped potential for GW.
They're an elite army with awesome potential. I can imagine it being a heavily armoured outfit with sturdy, classical designs.
I find it surprising that GW have never really seen fit to return to them, since they do participate in one of the larger battle scenes of the first film.

Aside from that, I would be very happy to burn a lot of cash on some plastic Knights of Dol Amroth on foot, Mordor Uruk-Hai and Black Numenoreans. I think these are three factions that a lot of people seem to want, so the investment would seem wise. Command sets for the Mordor uruks and BN would also be very welcome.

A little less realistically, I personally would also love to see new poses for the rank and file troops. This is all the more essential with the mass battle premise of WOTR, but this is painfully unlikely.

That would actually be pretty nice, all they'd have to do is have several same sized boxes with different unit poses with those sprues.Heck, why not be like Warhammer a little and have it so that way you build from the ground up(seriously,if they did that we'd see a LOT more easier to do conversion)

I'd basically sacrifice newborn babes for these, yes.

I honestly don't think they will ever re-visit the second age. People have wanted more from this era since the very beginning, and yet GW in their infinite wisdom have completely neglected it for years. Now that "The Hobbit" is coming out, the focus will probably be on that area, so by the time GW completely exhaust every conceivable idea from that, the LotR range will become a very low priority for them again. I wish I could be more optimistic.

SBG rules for all the new stuff so I can stop basterdizing them from War of The Ring. As far as models Id like for them to finally revisit the High Elves, Elnaith, plastic spearmen, the who sha-bang. Id really like to see some new plastics for Rohan as well. They've had 2 books rotating around them already and the best they could do was plastic Uruk scouts ( which I love!) and more metal Rohirrim troopers?

Every new model has SBG rules. You can either get them from a WD issue, or wait several months for the PDF to become available. Everything but the last release (drake, gundabad, etc) is in a PDF.

Mahur and Dwimmerlaik aren't out yet as far as I know.
