Hey, guys. GW has an Orcs & Goblins Arachnarok Spider up in Warhammer Fantasy advanced orders. I've never done anything with their Fantasy line, but it looks to me like it'd do pretty well as Ungoliant in LotR.
linky
What do you guys think?

I got to hold this today- the Arachnorak is huge and awesomely amazingly detailed. It would be amazing as a Shelob/Ungoliant.

As shelob it is way to large but for ungoliant it is perfect.

I've been thinking about it as ungoliant too.

Fits well as Ungoliant, so now where can you find a Morgoth? All this talk of Silmarillion characters makes me want to take up sculpting and make them myself.

I know what you mean.
@ Old Man Willow: Woah! That's one creepy looking spider! It's a little too small in my estimation, but would still be a great addition to any spider collection.

Gotta say, too, that now I really feel inspired to get back on my own Ungoliant WIP.

That one from Heresy would be better, in my opinion. I love it.
