I placed a seeker in paper saying that i was looking for mini's from lotr - GW. A guy answered and told me that he would sent me galadriel with mirror and gimli the dwarf. He also told me that he would rap them in carefully so that they wouldn't get damaged. I recieved a quite big medicin box in an enveloppe this morning. It felt quite light. And suprise suprise what was in it.

LOL, I guess the guy never heard of games workshop before. It's good to hear you didn't pay a sum amount of money for these.

I did had to pay sendings cost - that was 1,38 Euro's. Still to much for what it is i think. But sending it back would have costed me the same. :-D

Ty old man willow. I am glad i changed it. It couldn't stand looking at my bad sculpting. So i had to do something. :-) (Who knows how fast, i ll decide to redo it again :-D because i might end up disliking it again one day :) ).

I had some troubles today that started to depress me a bit, so i deceided to relax a bit.
I started my bat swarm. I just varnished it when i remembered that i have forgotten to paint the teeth of the bats. Also i have not given their eyes any colour. Maybe the skull needs a wash. But that will be for tomorrow. I am already glad with what i have so far.

I like the alternative red coloured bats you have, it works well having different colours. I hope to see the base done as well but that has probably already been planned. Looking forward to tomorrows update.

Sorry to dissapoint u cyndra - but the basing is quite simple...

Plus the pictures are bad - i have't changed much to the bats - teeth , eyes . The previous one gives back the colours better. On this picture it all seems dark - ( wich is not the case).

Wow, those bats look way scarier than the 'Eavy Metal ones. I love how you've blended all the colors together and yet made each bat stand out from the others.

Keep it up!

I took some time to work on my fort. I don' t think much will change anymore on it. I just need to do some more flock on the top walls - at the gate side.

Looks very good well done. You have done a lovely dirty effect as well. I'm wasn't to keen on the red and white chevrons but I think they look alright now. Could we have pics with models please?

Oh sweet man. This has come out really well. It also has that Osgiliath architecture to it as well. A good centre point for a battlefield.. for either capturing or defending. You'll need to get a battle report up some time.

First - I need the time to play - then an oponnent. Maybe i can get to play in summer...
I sadly enough, i only play about 3-4 games in a year so far :(
I got two guys that play in the store close by (So i can't really take my terrain over there - by bike :-) ). And one friend, that likes lotr but isn't in the mini's so far. (I might get him in there - some day  )

Next up is the remaining elfes - and hopfully those second handed guys... I wonder how many i will be able to get. That person has all i need for my isenguard army... fighting ones, siege teams, katapult,... :D Hopfully i meet up with him next week to buy them.

Ty for ur comments :) :puppy:

That's quite a lot of work so I'm looking forward to some good updates 8)

Take a look at Drum's thread here for paint stripping: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=20189
