Hi, I don't know if it's possible, but some boards have a "thumbs up" button one can use to recommend or positively flag a post. Sometimes someone posts an army list or a profile and I think it's great but I don't have anything to add, but I also want the person to know their efforts were appreciated. I've seen people post things and get no responses until they beg for a comment, because I think most people are hesitant to post a chain of "me toos".

Also, if someone recommends changes to a list or profile it might be useful for the OP to see if other people agree with the suggested changes.

Some boards also have a thumbs down button which IMHO might be fine for politics, but not friendly boards like this.

Curious if this is even possible or if members would want such a thing.

Sounds good, I like the idea because I too often have nothing constructive to add to the discussion but would like to give a "thumbs up".

Great idea. At several occasions, I have envisioned a sort of "like" button (similar to Facebook), but never got around to suggesting anything. Thanks for taking the initiative

Well, I thought about it a while and... I've got a small other idea for an addition to the site; may be it would be possible for people to add a 'comment' tag to their posts. So that those post wouldn't be counted as 'new' posts in the WiP forums.
That would make it a lot esear when you're watching To9, you're waiting a lot of time to watch another wip pic, but cause it so full of comments, most new post are just wasted time.
So then you're sure you're going to see and read about the things that you're following.

Good idea. Perhaps something like the Reputation system used on many vBulletin boards might be something worth looking into?
