Looks very cool. Cant believe you did that so quickly. It takes me forever to sculpt and paint. Only criticism is the feet, but that has been made before. Good job! :yay: 8)

His face has such a wonderfully cheeky look to it - so characterful. That's an incredibly difficult thing to do in a mini, so well done!

I am really looking forward to seeing more of your work. I predict big things (well, ok, little minis) in your future if you choose to pursue this.

Oh, and welcome to the One Ring too.

I have to concur, it's great to see people sculpting. I think it's also a great addition to this site to have some more female interest in the hobby.

on the sculpt, looks lovely and cuddly. :D

Magnificent sculpting! Dagorlad basically summed up my thoughts about the mini, so no need to elaborate on that... ;) However, I must observe that the hair on his feet seems a touch unrealistic. It's not at all problematic, simply something I couldn't help but noticing

Keep it up! 8)

Lady of clay hill - perhaps you should post a sketch of the style you are sculpting this might curb some of the comments on hair and feet.
If you have scanned in tree beard with M&P yet then post that up to.

Great work Sammy. The style of your Frodo reminds me very much of the Bilbo Baggins character from the Hobbit game I have on PC and PS2 which was almost cartoon like. Ignore people who are obsessed with realism unless that is what you are trying to achieve. You have a fantastical element to your style which works just fine. A model full of character. :yay:
I also began scratch sculpting larger models before attempting smaller ones. The transition is not as difficult as you might think.

He reminds me of me.

Leave it up to you whether that's a good thing or not....

Very interesting so far, I like the autmun-ish colors, and the painting is quite good 8)

I love this cartoonish look a lot, it's (finally) something different and 100% personal, great job, nice highlights on the inner jacket aswell, and love the small detail (the dots)! But... what happened to the blade? Shame if it broke off...

(any chance Arwen is next? )
