i'm just wondering can an epic hero be moved into a formation from a battlehost during a game?

The only thing you need to be cautious about is deployment. Your EH can't deploy as part of the Battlehost. So you either need a "holder" Formation to put him in or deploy him separately into the Battlehost.

As far as I can tell if you're playing a scenario where all your models are on the table at the beginning it's not a big deal. You deploy your Battlehost, then deploy your EH, placing him where you want in a BH Formation.

However (and this is discussed in another thread I started yesterday) if you have reinforcements in the scenario then you need to be more careful. You can deploy your BH as a single unit, but depending on how many units you can bring on initially you need to decide if you want to take up an initial deployment "slot" for the external EH.
