Hmmm, yeah, maybe I shpuld have done that, but it looks ok as it is.

Great mini Billy, it looks fantastic! :yay:
Though you didn't sort the blending out on the stray piece of cloth at the back of the mini...

Thanks :-D

Well, I was about to fix that up, but I haven't found the time yet. :-X

Right now I am painting a batch of 4 Haradrim, which are about half-done, and I have also finished painting 2 other warriors, so I'll put some pics up soon 8)

Sorry I haven't had an update in a while guys. But anyway, If you don't already know, I went into Games Workshop on Sunday, and found that I hadn't made it to the Nationals in Golden Demon :( It's ok though, I had a feeling I wouldn't make it, the top 3 were really nicely painted, the guy who entered the Radagast last year (and also won the category) painted a really awesome Gandalf, he has really improved in the last year... There was also a purplish coloured Galadriel and a Theoden.

In other news, I have been working on some of my Haradrim Warriors, and have completed 2 of them, actually I have to paint the gems on the one with both of his hands on the spear.

Before anyone tells me I need to fix the blending on a bit of the cloak, I already know and will fix it soon. :-D

Here's the other one which needs the gems painted:

And I am also in the progress of painting these four bowmen, so here's what they look like:

C&C is welcome guys 8)

Looks nice, Billy! :yay: Gems look nice on the first one. Bases could use another coat of Bestial Brown though. Other than that, great job! 8)

Nice cloth, tones blend well.

Just redo the rims though, they are pretty weak atm. 8)

Last week I bought a Glass Cabinet for my mini's and just yesterday I set it up. I think it looks really cool and I was lucky enough to not have to pay for it, instead my mum paid for it! :D

It stands just a bit shorter than me, which is about 165cm tall and is about 45cm wide.

Image

This is the top most shelf where I keep my smallish Isengard Army and my Rohan models and Moria Goblins.

Image

This shelf is for mainly completed Heroes that I really like, although not all of them are painted ATM

Image

This shelf holds my Mordor Army which I just managed to squeeze in. :-D

Image

This is my Gondor Army.

Image

And these are my Elves, some are Wood Elves and some are High Elves.

Image

I also keep a box with my broken mini's and unfortunately I have a lot of them (65) because most of them are really old mini's and they have been kept in storage for years.

Image

In total (including the damaged models) I have approximately 470 models all up :D

Anyway, I have also been painting a King of Men, but Im painting him with a blue cloak (inspired by Bart's King :-D ).

It's still not done but I will have him finished soon. :) Oh and the sword is painted in NMM, it's only like my second go but tell me what you think
