Well, here's my question:

What is the reason that Dimrill Dale had no trees? (This one's really tough, you'll have to do your research. But the reason's there...somewhere. You just have to find out where.)

It was treeless, because the Dwarves cut down all the trees for use as fire wood, so they could respectfully dispose of their dead after the last battle of the War of the Dwarves and Orcs. :)
