The windows are made from a sheet of plasticard, with clear acetate for the galss. I cut the outer frame from the plasticard and then glue two thin strips of plastic to form the cross bracing. Then I glue a piece of clear acetate onto the back.

It's coming, but I think I'll need a suitable model of Steve McQueen to go with it. Actually, I did use The Great Escape as my primary resource for this building. Next I'll get the Hogans Heroes boxed set.

Really, once painted and surrounded by the great scenery you always make, none ever will notice it's only a model, none ever will see the difference between real and model!
(at least not until they see it only reaches till their knees...)

The table is 2400 x 1200mm and the top of the castle's roof will stand about 900mm above the table surface.

It's for 28mm figures so it's probably a little large for LOTR, but not by much.
