So it will be metallics in the end... good choice :wink: Nice conversions - simple and effective. Perhaps you should consider writing an article :wink:

Yep they are just more universal than NMM plus more resistable to damage.

Article?? Maybe but only when I'll buy additional blister to show it on brand new minis.

It's always nice to hear stuff like that KoA.

Here ares some recent photos of LEgolas. Finished horse and face. I haven't moved much since last update, mainly because I just finished High School and therefore I had one reson to celebrate and so on ;)

I tried different technique on face. So pleas let me know if you like it more then face of Legolas on foot or less.

I think you really got this face spot on! Well done. I'd love to hear about the techniques you used on it (since you said it was new for you).

Its a shame you don't have schoolies like us aussies Haldir_sfan. When I finished school, the same saturday of that week we went down to the coast for a week of partying :D

In any case, the fleshtones on your Legolas are top-notch! I can't wait for the next update! Heh, I also want to see how you paint up your spearmen. How did you manage to obtain so many :shock:

I really like the way the mini is turning out. It's hard to write anything particular about the face - some clode-ups would help :wink:

I now realise that word technique is too strong here. It's just new style. Usual I go from dark flesh fo elf flesh, and here I've started with 50/50 mix o Dark Flesh and Dwarf Flesh (some accuse me of making Elf skintones too dark so i'm trying this new style).

Anyway, here's Legolas finished. I'm really found of this mini and I think it was worth spending so much time over it. Despite some problems (while I was playing guitar one of the speakers felt on my desk making some casulties between minis though no lethat wounds occures) like having to repaint half of model after mentioned accident, I really like it.

Thanks guys. Knowing that you like it is the best reward for all hours spent on this model.

Also i uploaded it onto my gallery so if you have any further feedback on things i should take into account next time, pleas let me know, it's the best way to learn.

Once again thanks a lot. Next step... Smal Rohan earod (8 RoR, Eomer and Gamling (both mounted)), and my WE Army.

Here's a begginging of my first (of 11) KoMT for my special project, top secret yet, but when i reveal it I think you won't regret allt he mystery now ;)

Only face and armour now, but I thought that's worth posting since it's one of my very best armours. Pics are a bit too dark, because I thought natural bright sunlight will do...well it didn't ;)

Also thanks for all comments here and in gallery, some ideas are truly worth taking into account ;)

@theharadkight - practice makes perfect ;)
