As much as I try not to, I cannot help but vote for Mig. This is a painting competition and his work is by far the best. That is not to take anything away from the others, you have all done great jobs and should be proud.
Work like Migs should be there to inspire you to greater things and to push yourself into learning how to paint better. You can all do it.

I voted for Baardeend because imo he best depicted Sir Christopher Lee facially without a doubt!

I too had to vote for Mac G's. It is just so smooth. The blends are great, and the subtle 'many colours' effect is outstanding. Wah wing was my second, as that is possibly the best figure I have seen you paint! Great job on him.

Macs painting is just ...meh lol
Dr Grant and Valpas are equally excellent but this month Wah Wing got my vote, as Avenger says this is your best work to date buddy. Well done!

The list of entrants isn't too large, so I figured I could give some comments on them. It's always a nice feeling to see a comment on your entry.

Valpas: I really like the transitions between highlights and shading. The eyes are another great part of your model. His hair does look purple though.

Wah Wing: Work on your trees. :-D

MacGothmog: Your many-colored Saruman is stunning! I love the eyes and the skin tones look very real. Also love the freehand painting!

Dr. Grant: My vote went to you, Dr. Grant. I like the simplicity of the model as well as the base. The colors were well executed as well. Good job!

Baardeend: I like the use of colors and the eye in the palintir is a nice touch. However, and sorry for being picky, but there isn't enough contrast in the different layers of his robes the base really needs to be done. Other than that, excellent work!

Aranel7773: This is a very lovely model. I love the base display and the highlights on the robes look good. The horse could use more greys to make the details pop.

Great work, everyone! I'm glad that I could finally finish an entry this year.

MacGothmog gets my vote, that is just a beautiful model! Well done to everyone, though, it's impressive to see so many excellent takes on the same character!

Disappointed with myself for not even starting my entry let alone finishing it. Some fantastic entries but my vote went to MacGothmog, like others I cannot find a reason not to vote for it. You've all done the great man justice, well done!

Beautiful work by everyone. I allocated my vote to most improved and that had to be Wah Wing. A fantastic job - the best I have seen from you!

It seems that MM never submitted his finished Saruman in the competition thread, which is a pity, as it would have given MacG a run for his money in the voting (I think) (nothing against MacG, but a tighter race in the votes always makes it more interesting). Go check it out in his wip thread, I only remembered it when I looked there for something else.
