Pretty torn with who to vote for this month theres quite a few that I like. I'll hav to come back. Just on a sidenote guys some of the pictures are getting pretty big if you could resize them for the next challenge as I don't have time to resize them all and they take aaaaages to upload. A very tough decision, but I went with PoW in the end. The free-hand is beautiful! Gandlaf the Grey wrote: a great standard throughout. I don't know if you meant it, but that's a great pun

It was hard for me to choose between Bill Ferny and Sid the Sloth  In the end I went with Sid because his writing on the banner in elvish is fantastic  I'm not just saying this but this was actually the hardest challenge to vote on  Well done all

I had to vote or power of will. The miniature as a whole is amazing and the free handed detail on the banner is simply stunning. Well done Will and everyone else too. It was a tight competition... |

ArmandHammer - love the work with the head and the blood just needs a bit more technique. Keep up the good work! Rognarr gets my vote for the good paint job and the extra conversion work. well done! |

Harfoot got my vote, the freehand on the banner is simply stunning. I also liked crucifer's which was a close second for me. |

This is getting tougher every time - the entry standard (ha-ha pun intended) is rising and each time we end up with a (growing) few that are impossible to separate as each of them is meritworthy. Very hard to decide and once I had voted I could see others had different opinions. But they are all excellent - very well done to all the participants! |

Phew the choice is very tough this month.  Dorthie is correct in that the standard seems to be going up month on month. This shows the value of the painting challenges I'm going to have to think for a while before I make my selection though to be honest they are all winners already. |

Great stuff from everyone, very inspiring as always. I was torn between Bill Ferny and Harfoot due to the freehand work on both - so much better than anything I could achieve. Ultimately went for Harfoot as the banner colours were so effective but it was a really hard choice - well done all. |

Wow I think there are a number of entries that are deserving of first place this month so I am a little surprised the voting isn't a little closer. If I could vote for more than one entry I would! I must say the painting challenge is my favourite thing on one-ring. I really enjoy seeing other peoples work and the ideas and inspiration it gives me. Well done and thanks to all! |
