Hmm, I'm not sure what I'll do. I have a Dain that needs painting, so possibly that. I also have a Balin that I was hoping to trade, but no one ever wants Balin. Maybe I'll just buy a Gimli off ebay.

Have you seen DMS' and Bilboofthewhitetower's painting? You'd need to be Bill Gates to be able to pay large enough a bribe to vote for me over one of them. REALISM for the win. I know defeatism is not a desirable trait, but there's no point in pretending I'm better then I am.

I hope so, it sure sounds like we'll have a lot of entrants next month!

I have a few poses of Gimli, all unpainted, so it's about time I got one of them finished! Count me in.

I usually vote for the person who shows the most improvement or has one heck of an original idea (conversion). Don't count yourself out...there have been months that I only got a couple of votes. It is all about having fun in the end. :)

Agreed and for me its also about motivation for finishing at least one miniature a month. I'm going to be doing my December entry up to the deadline as I am out of town as of right now.

Personally, I am entering this not because I have a decent chance at winning (because I don't), but because it's a "community event" and I like being a part of that community.

It's also good motivation for reducing my backlog - which is something I am dreadful at!
