:D A Big thanks to everyone who voted for my entry, Its been the most fun painting I've had in the ten plus years I've been doing it. I truly am honoured. Ten years ago I made a promise to finish painting the Lord of The Rings full collection and discovering this website has doubled my motivation to get the job done! Thank you all for making this site what it is.
Well done to everyone who participated in the challenge, the entries were that good I couldn't pick a winner from the Lurtz miniatures at all. I look forward to seeing all the monsters completed for this months challenge. Good luck to all!
Thanks again. :D

DMS

I'm SO dissapointed... no votes whatsoever on my model! (No one voted for my aragorn, but I must admit, that was a REALLY terrible picture I took and did not compliment the real model at ALL!) But DMS deserves all those votes I suppose; he did a superb job on his! Congratulations!!! 8)

Congrats to DMS specifically and to everyone in general! What a huge amount of talent! I'm waiting eagerly to see what all you people can create for this month's challenge.

Sad day. I didn't get any votes. It probably would have helped if I had a Lurtz :P Oh well, maybe I'll have better luck in September, even though the only monster I have that needs to be painted is the MoM cave troll. Hmmmmmm...

Anyway, congrats DMS, you did a very good job and I look forward to seeing more from you.

Congratulations to Dead Marsh Spectre for an excellent entry. Well done!

Commiserations to everyone else, especially those that scored none or only one vote (myself included) - that's what happens when there are so many entries in a competition and a number of high-quality paint jobs too. Don't give up hope though - the competition is all about joining in rather than winning. And is about learning a few things too - not just painting techniques, but also how to present a model to show it off better.
