So why can gildor lead wood elves (noldorin exiles) when wood elves are in the lothlorien & mirkwood list and he is in Eregion & Rivendell list? (I know this will have been asked alot.) How have people found noldorin exiles? extra movement worth the extra point?

I've heard generally favorable views regarding exiles. As for why he can use troops that aren't in his army list the game makers are responsible. I think it's more also for appearance and balance as heavily armored High Elves wouldn't be able to move as efficiently as unarmored Elves and an already stat decent model (High Elf warriors) to then have added movement would be a little over powered.

I'm assuming Gildor can lead Noldorin Exiles because when Frodo encounters him in the books he's travelling with a group of elves who's appearance more resembles the models they have for wood elves rather than the high elves of Rivendell.

Yea it's just for a nice bit of fluff and theme so that Gildor can lead some different looking troops, adds a bit of variety to High Elf armies.

You don't see too much of them on the tournament circuit, he's normally spoken of quite favourably due to his cheap and easy immobilises but you rarely see him. Erestor and Glorfindel tend to be taken above him.

Same for the exiles really, they seem good but you very rarely see them.
