I know I am asking slot here, but I am still relatively new to this, and before I started buying and building an army I wanted to know roughly what would make up a good MM army and therefore not wasting too much of my money x

I know you are female, I'm good at guessing genders. Before I give you a list, I want t know how fair you want to play ie blackshields or gobbos with shields (or a mix of the 2)

I will do so, but I have to go out now, will give you them when I come back in 2-3 hours. Yes a fluffy list is a weird name, and as for how I know, people give signs.

Do you rate the stone giant? Wouldn't 2 Mordor trolls as allies be better?

Mordor Trolls are too easy to kill, you need 3 or 2 and a Chieftain. Stone Giants are Uber, plus with Durburz there's his overlord to give it a heroic move to make it even more deadly. A common tactic by powergamers.

Would you always play spider brood over Wargs? I know this sounds silly but I like the look of the Wargs and want them in my army. Plus would you ever play a Warg chieften?

No, wargs are good too, (and Druzhag can summon either), there cheap, and in small formations can attack in rear. It's best not to use Chieftains too often even though the model is really cool, unless you can avoid all ES heroes in range, as ne ES duel spells destruction for whole formation.

So just stick with the basic Wargs? That is a shame as the chieften looks cool, wouldn't the cheiften help with at the doubles tho?

It woul, its the main benefit but you could stick a cheap ES hero in their instead unless you knew you could avoid all ES heroes or were playing at a much larger pts eg 2000-3000pts and had several formations of themthat it would be a waste of theitr might points.

What sort of ES Hero would you think of? I would need a mounted version wouldn't I?

Thanks, it okay, I love to help a fellow LOTR player :D

Firstly, Durburz, as he's in the list, you'd have to convert a mounted versiomn though. Secondly, Thrydan he's the same pts as a chieftain. Thirdly, Dalymyr, and fourthly Gothmog.

It's not a waste taking them out of a larger formation then to place into a Wargs formation?

As long as you don't leave them in long enough for you opponant to blast them with artillery or something. Also if your using the second choice (thrydan) he's so cheap that it doesn't really matter if he gets killed especially ifthey used something with a high cost to do so, and kept them away from something more valuable.

Tell me if you want me to stop asking questions, once I get going I can't stop. What is the best size for a formation of Wargs? Is it better to have more formations of smaller sizes or bigger formations?
