Ok guys so I am clearing out alot of my models to make space for all my charisma (don't worry I ain't leavin the hobby or anything).

Anyway seeing as this great forum is turning 10 I figured I would do something to celebrate, and have thus decided to (try) and mail each person that responds here a single miniature, I know a single model isn't a lot but hey, it's always nice to have a good luck charm, especially in a luck based game - and I'd rather get rid of some of my models by sending them to members of the best forum in the world than ebay-ing them for a tiny profit.

Post below compliments on what armies you play so I can try to make the gifts personalized. The models will likely be plastic - don't be expectin nuttin fancy - just something to bolster your ranks and make you think "Marsbar and the One Ring forum is so great" while you are playing.

I live in UK so I'd rather not be sending things all over the globe but if we are good buds (lookin' at you Whafrog) i'll be more than glad to send you one.

EDIT: Please get involved even if we have never interacted - I really want to reach as many people as I can with this :)

Hello Marsbar!

I am a rookie here, and I am from the US. After all the people from the UK here have had their pick, I wouldn't mind a plastic miniature :)

I guess I'd like an Easterling? But any evil plastic dude would be cool, I really can't be picky haha. Heck even if you gave me a good model I'd convert it into a barrow-wight or a dread marsh shade.

Oh and finally, Marsbar you are the most charming and handsome :yay: . Also the greatest general, and a magnificent person. What other comments can I say to draw your attention :rofl: .

Hey you don't know me and I don't know you but from what I hear apparently your incredibly funny, handsome, popular, handsome, charismatic, handsome, a great general and pretty much just a top notch handsome lad :-D (did I mention some people say your handsome ??)
I'm based in the uk and I guess I'd like a dwarf if possible but tbh I'm happy with anything :)

Well I definitely have to give you credit for my favorite username on the forum for sure, very creative which shows intelligence. Obviously you're generous to do something such as this, and personable/charismatic too as this is a pretty sure fire way to connect w others.

Also and in all honesty you're a benefit to the OR community, you're one of the most frequent posters and that keeps the OR interesting.

I'm in the US as well and if you want to send a model I'd really appreciate a Harad Raider. They're my longest running "main team" and I've never picked up the basic raider lol

Totally mooching in on this one! I dont collect any army in particular but have a preference for elves. I am one short of a wood elf with sword if that narrows it down.

This is a wonderful gift to OR, I'm sure you'll gain plenty of brownie points with everyone by doing this. If there are any spare models for a High Elf/Grey Company force after all these replies I'd certainly be very grateful to receive anything. Thanks on behalf of everyone here :D :D

I think in a place like this you always come across a few posters whose comments you add a bit more credence to. Having been lurking on here for so long, I can honestly say that the thoughts and assistance of a depressed chocolate bar have always rated highly.

I won't presume to think that a mere truth like that is worthy to convince you to send anything my way, but *if* you do feel so inclined I'm sure my Warriors of Minas Tirith would appreciate any support sent their way.

As mentioned, this is a really nice gesture. Fun stuff like this reassures me that, whatever betide the future of this game in respect of GW's support, the game itself will endure long afterwards in the safe hands of this great community.
