In the old The Battle of Pelennor Fields book, they had a template for Gondor tents.

The black tent didn't fit with my southern Gondor theme I'm going with so I adapted to what I wanted - a large command tent and smaller troop tents. After a lot of tweaking and printing on scrap paper, this is what I came up with.

Still could do some more tweaking to the templates and not too happy with just cutting a door into one side but it works.

Printed on some textured colored card stock to give them some stability.

Made a small hill.

Best part is that it all can be put away in a small space.

The square ones seem a little odd but the more hexagonal ones I like, Maybe I print off some of these and see how they look, thanks.

These are really great. Thanks for the template, Mapper. Camping season is officially over in this part of the world--it snowed last night--but maybe I'll let Gondor set up tents all winter.
