First a disclaimer: I am in no way associated with this kickstarter with no financial interest in it.

For those who don't like building with Hirst Arts blocks or find drawing block lines in foam tiresome, this kickstarter might be for you: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fi ... and-rpg-sc

Might be a quick way to build an Osgiliath board.

They look like they would be very useful indeed

I am a bit skeptical about Kick-starter myself though, I would rather just see how they get on and then order it from their webstore at a later date

I do not usually comment if I do not back a kick-starter. I did not back this one because texturing foam is so easy to do.

I can see the appeal. Hirst Arts are messy. They are cheap, once you get over the initial investment. Extruded foam scenery like Ziterdes produces are the closest thing on the market right now, and they are also expensive. Honestly, I'm surprised Noch hasn't come up with this idea for their Ziterdes line.

I've got hundreds of dollars invested in Hirst Arts, so I won't be investing. I wish them luck.

Some textured foam parts are available from some of the model RR shops.
