Just looking for good sized, cheap trees that would fit in within the lord of the rings theme as just a generic tree. Some that would fit on 40mm or 60mm bases with some space, any ideas? thanks!

I get trees from Woodland Scenics. I think they look really good and are pretty cheap. I put mine on 40mm bases and then add some extra things to the base to give it more life.

If you have more time than money, you can always make them. Buy some green florist's wire and follow the instructions that are all over youtube.

There are lots of brands of model trees available for railroading. Woodland scenics are nice, affordable and easily available. Major N. American craft stores carry their product. Go to Walther's website for model trains and browse until your heart's content. They also publish a catalogue yearly that would put most phone books to shame.
