Apologies if this has been answered before but the search engine on this forum always ignores "UK" so I can't find any appropriate threads. I'll write United Kingdom out so if anyone searches for this they might have more luck. I'm thinking about starting work on a modular terrain board and would like to get some extruded polystyrene to work with as it's much better for hobby applications than expanded polystyrene (the white stuff made from millions of little balls). I've tried all the obvious places like B&Q, Wickes (who do sell it but it's one inconveniently thick sheet for about £10), and Homebase with no luck. I have seen some on eBay but obviously but most listings on there are for a very large amount of foam with high shipping costs. Does anyone have a relatively cheap source of the stuff that has a range of sizes and thicknesses? |

I used to work at Buildbase and we used to have it but you'll probably have to get it ordered in… any builders merchants should sort you out… magnets, jewsons, buildbase etc... |

Antinocitis Workshop sell it in gamer sized tiles- 1x1ft, and 25, 50mm or 100mm thick. |

I got a big sheet from Wickes for about £5, it was in the insulation section. |

i used jewsons for 5 a sheet but think you need traders card to shop there, good thing my dads in the business i always get lots of bits off him lol |

Knauf make in big 1200mm sheets - B&Q used to sell them but I am not sure if they still do. Maybe Homebase or some of the other DIY stores or builders merchants will have it. |
