Today I received quite a treat in the mail, my order from Tabletop Workshop.
I thought a small review of their products might be in order.

Let me preface this by saying that I have played miniature war games for 30 years, and have used all sorts of terrain sets on my tables. However, I after inspecting these medieval houses and buildings first hand I can say without equivocation that these are the finest pieces of war game terrain I have ever seen.

Each building is ready to assemble out of the box, and requires very little clean-up. The pieces snap together easily and are made of a very hard plastic with lots of detail. The material is very durable. I don't imagine I will ever have to replace them, unlike resin buildings or other plastic kits I have seen that are so thin that they break easily. The only drawback is that the doors don't open, but that is really a small complaint considering the incredible quality of the kits.

I would post pics of my new buildings (I bought 1 chapel, 4 cottages, 2 Town Houses, and 2 Merchant Houses), but they are at this time unpainted. Instead, I'll post a link to the site.

I have also got a few of the cottages, got them from Knightyknight of Chester/ Penketh Model Railways. Beautiful kits, I used them at my tournament a few weeks back. I plan to buy some of the other variants soon and create a cool looking village board.

Yes. The quality of the kits are simply astounding. After getting my sets today I plan on selling my resin Miniature building authority castle sets to buy a set of Tabletop Workshop castle stuff.
The pictures look great, but really don't do the kits justice.

I am sure you can find a good home for the OOP MBA sets. I like the TW castle too.

CAD has made a lot of this possible, along with 3D printing so prototypes can be created to iron out any issues. It will be interesting to see how the range develops.
