Greetings all, I have decided to build a river model for my games and am presently in favour of building it on a 24" x 48" slab of MDF the same thickness as the plastic realm of battle boards. If anyone has written any articles or has some good pics it would be great to see them? |

I saw a cool board which had a big river on it.. it was made a of blue glass sand... it was laid on the table cloth to the shape needed... carefully swept up after the game. it made sense really as water is flat...so it is not likely your going to lay a river of sand up a hill side? The sand was bigger than beach sand and almost a grit really. It looked very good. I haven't a clue where you get this sand.. it is either a florist supply or a water filter medium I think? |
