Hi All I need help please I have a CANON Power Shot A470 Digital camera, I think it has 3x Optical zoom??? I want to take photo's of my Miniatures. But when I take a shot close up the photo is all blurred!! I have tried different distances but to get a clear shot the mini's are too far away, it's still abit blurred and you can't see any of the details???
But the closer I go the more blurred the photo. Any suggestions.I will try and post a photo so you can see what I mean.
Thanks Woodelf

Have you set it to macro function? (the little flower symbol)

Yeah, first off look for a macro setting with the little flower, that is for taking close ups.

How far away are you having to stand to get rid of the blurring? With the macro setting on my camera I generally stand about 18" away from the mini then load the picture into a paint program and crop it down to just the figure I want in the picture.
