Crom has decided the world needs mighty thews. The KS is doing very well and has unlocked an awful lot of minis including some exclusives. Have a gander (that means take a look, not that I am offering you a male goose): https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/806316071/conan Maybe they could sponsor 'International Talk Like A Barbarian Day'.... |

I was making a dramatic entrance In for the King Pledge and all the add-ons they can throw at us! I have a heap of Conan paperbacks I must start reading. I liked the spot on beasts of War and watched the demo game with the French guys and the community manager. PS - I hope this goes smoother than AvP and DUST |

I find it hard to believe they got 1.5 million in pledge money.....really....they can just make the game then pocket a ton of money......seems unbelievable. Looks cool though. Miniatures are awesome! But Im not a huge fan of games like that, which are closed in. I much prefer a big board you can move at any angle on. Nice, nonetheless. |

Easy enough to transfer to a table top, just use a tape measure. Can't believe the amount and new backers the campaign is still taking, never seen the like before. |

$350 of freebies for a $90 pledge - can't be bad Gameplay looks original and good as well, I intend on using the Overlord idea as command and control for other wargame battle systems. |

For a gander or geese in general try these: http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/pet-advice/ ... -pets.html http://www.rspca.org.uk/adviceandwelfar ... ksandgeese http://www.wikihow.com/Care-for-a-Goose If you want to know more, consult your library. Speaking of librarians... http://reel-librarians.com/2011/11/23/c ... librarian/ Crom has spoken! |

Quote: $350 of freebies for a $90 pledge - can't be bad I am leery of runaway Kickstarters like this. I will be shocked if it is only 6 months late. Most likely a year. The amount of backers puts a HUGE logistical strain on small companies. Then they hire help or acquire new facilities to deal with it, and their operational budget skyrockets, eating all profit and operating capitol. This has happened to a growing number of Kickstarter campaigns. Pledge cautiously my friends, but I wish you the best of luck. And to be honest I want this game too, but I will wait for retail. |

The Kickstarter is running away... and Monolith appear to have their heads well screwed on. We have seen a lot of sculpts in both digital and physical form. The rules have been play-tested by 500 people pre-Kickstarter and since they sent out the print and play we have had a lot of favourable comments. The exclusives are nice too (who said Red Sonja? She's Henna Hannah!) |

And now the most successful boardgame on Kickstarter, well done for them and more toys for us |

Oh boy did I enjoy that! Well I will be getting rid of all the WH40K and some other stuff to make room for Conan and other stuff that is mostly living in boxes at the moment. I often wondered what Conan would have been like in Middle-earth.... with a few rule tweaks, who knows? |

Well we'll certainly be getting a small army of miniatures to use with this KS. |
