We've got zombies. It's fun but we added house rules straight off.

I have bad luck with my order - i ordered like almost about 2 months ago now. Still hasn't arrived yet. They did get new boxes in the store from the expansion. But not the original game i ordered. So i am still waiting for it... - i was thinking about buying one of the expansions but i quite spent alot of money recently so i guess i better save up a bit for now. I am still thinking over of getting the balrog friday. My store that is closing up is handing out like 40 percent off..
@shieldmaiden: u got any expansions to? - worth getting those?

some handy links - and some good news - it's coming in today - the reason for delay was that the game was still in reproduction, so they couldn't deliver sooner.

I did my first zombie game yesterday - it was quite fun. The event cards are quite interesting to win battle. I died like 2-3 times, :-D . It's very simple to learn. My only fear is that maybe it might be too simple for some people and since I only did one game so far - I don't know if it gets boring after a while. But there are quite a lot of expansions those might flavour the game a bit more with some extra rules i think. Don't know what's the impact from those.
Might be nice to add humans - a version where u are playing with the zombies. But since that one is probably a stand alone version it might cost quite a bit too. But there were players that really would have liked it to be a zombie. So i think it might be interesting to get that one.

Did some more zombie gaming this weekend. 3players again - it was quite fun - in the end it was a real race to the helicopter or making kills. All players had as many chances to win this time. I won one of the games because i seemed to have slightest chances to make a win. They used cards on each other to prevent them from winning giving me the extra chance to break trough to the helicopter. Since they already used their cards no one could stop me except for the zombies. But since i had 2 shotguns there was no stopping me. Now i am really curious to the expansions. My friends already started thinking about making their own rules. Like a card that could prevent the heli from leaving for 2 turns. Or moving it to another location.

I have that game its ok, but rather simple. I play "All Things Zombie" by two hour wargames. I bought the PDF and downloaded it right away. Its a really cool game that can even be played solo. You play bands of survivors, where you and your friends can cooperate against the zombies or fight each other and the zombies to gain the supplies you need to survive! It has a good campaign system. It can be pretty scary to play, the zombies are randomly generated each turn. And there is a chance of even more zombies for ever shot fired! http://www.twohourwargames.com/all-things-zombie.html
Here is my favorite blog from a guy who plays just this game. Just scroll down. http://vampifansworldoftheundead.blogspot.com/
You and your friends might like it.

Ty for the links - ill check them right away. I am quite curious!
Well the nice thing about zombies so far is that people don't get scared off by difficult rules. Every game i played so far has been exciting. Everyone had as much chances to win till the end in some of other way. Makes the tension even bigger!
I ordered humans! already.

You'll find nice reviews of human and zombie figures on the blog site I gave you. Should help you build your collection. We have 50 or more in ours. We've used the plastic figures from the board game too!
