Does anyone here do WWII in 20mm (1:72 scale)?
I've always been a big fan of 28mm stuff, but I've been looking at the vast range of vehicles out there in 1:72 scale and begun thinking I could probably get into it in a big way.
And then a friend of mine asked me to develop an online store for his range of minis (mostly 18mm Napoleonics, but also ACW and Ancients) - and lo and behold, he does 20mm World War II.
AB Figures is the company (licensed to and managed by Eureka Miniatures), and the figures are
superbly detailed. And there are other companies that make figures this size too, including plastics. But I'm thinking I might get into it for company-sized games set Late War (Western European Theatre). I'll still go with 28mm for platoon-sized skirmishes, since I've made a heavy investment in that scale (and actually have some painted figures).
I'm not pushing the company so much, but if you want to have a look at the AB Figures website, it was programmed and designed by yours truly, and went live yesterday.
