As mentioned in my introduction post, i started delving into the hobby by starting an army that attracted me always since seeing the first LOTR movie and even more after going through the army book: Numenór. I like the history and the aesthetics behind this army. Black being the prominent color but still having a lot of details and nuances that stand out even more against black - love it =) Also the contrast of the more colorful heroes to stand out even more. Here you can see my results so far: https://www.deviantart.com/asgarod/gall ... me-numenor I don't consider myself a good painter but i have a lot of fun doing and I am eager for tips and advices. I sticked to so far to the official colors from the GW website. |

I initially thought about doing a Numenor Army led by Isildur where he kept the one ring to do battle with Elrond who would try to retrieve the ring and destroy it. Sold off my metal Numenor figures before that came to happen though. Like how your army is coming along, keep them coming! |

@Loremaster Thx for your post! =) Your scenario idea sounds really interesting although i fear elrond and high elves would pretty much destroy Isildur xD It is a shame that Numenor has such a limited range of miniatures when they actually were the biggest and mightiest army in the world of mortals - so one cannot really imagine they had just infantry - would really like to see war machines, different types of cavalry and more diverse heroes. Well one can dream and hope that with the success of the Amazon LOTR show, we will get that |

When I looked closer I saw that they were alternate models, still stand by my statement that it is an excellent army though. Like to see dedication to a theme/army, very nice. |
