Hey! First post here, thought i would do a WIP of a Durin's Folk army im about to start. I've done a test model and would like some opinions! Fairly happy with what i've got so far but i'm wondering how well the scheme will translate onto other models in the force that aren't as simple as the warriors (iron guard/banners etc)
Also, anyone have any idea on how to do realistic snow bases? Tried it for this warrior but im not happy with the GW stuff.
Thanks in advance :)

This is where I learned to do snow bases (link below). You pretty much use woodland scenic snow (or another substitute) and craft glue. Then you can add as much water as you need to make the snow slushier. I would experiment with different amounts of snow, glue, and water first before you base your models. I've tried this method before and it works great!

Just don't use baking soda, it can turn yellow after a while.
