I have been on this website for almost 4 months and I have only now started a WIP, here is a little diorama i did a little while ago. here are the minis, eaach sculped or cobbeled out of bits of warhammer kits.

although not entirley lotr related here is a sculpt i did yesterday, its gotrek gurnensson! felix will be next on my sculpting bench. my newest lotr work is emyn muil frodo and sam, frodo is finished. sam is almost done.

I have been working on this project for about 3 weeks, it is my most ambitious project yet! Helms deep. The board is going to be 8' by 4' when finished.

Here is a better view of the first level of the hornburg.

To give you a sense of scale, the deeping wall is 162cm long and 9 cm wide. The hornburg gate is 29cm high from the ground to the top of the battlements. The diameter is 80 cm across the hornburg gate.

Have you pre-calculated distances for Helm's Deep? Wow, creating miniatures from scrapped bits is noteworthy: your Bolg looks fittingly terrifying, but your Frodo's facial features aren't as clean.
