This is certainly a terrain piece i've been wanting to make since I saw it in an Unexpected Journey so hear it is. The entire fortress,statues and mountain is styrofoam. It is 5 ft wide and almost 2 ft tall. Built to display and will eventually be added onto for larger battles. I made the secret entrance on the side of the mountain and a swinging gate for the main entrance........tons of styrofoam chipping here!

Haha, its certainly a piece that makes you look twice! I'm very pleased with the way the colors came out especially the green kind of oxidized copper look on the fortress......just like the film version |

Its designed for 25 mm , the statues are normally massive so it seems like a larger scale , thanks ! |

incredible work !!! if i can do a little critic : you will need 2-3 other table like this to play the full battle of five armies !lol i think if you can add the ice river and some details on the erebor door will be awesome! |
