Hi all, thanks mod for letting me on Just a small introduction. I am part of a Youtube community, Legion of Gamza. About 6 months ago, I started to watch GBHLpodcast and started to get back in to the hobby. I moved house December 2014, but now have the buzz for painting again. I am a big LOTR fan, (you may notice the use of the hobbit box in the pics). Have been watching the forums for over a year and thought about time I joined in. Below is latest WIP. Fixing Bilbo's shoulder. Fili is pretty much done. Got to fix part of his face. The other two dwarves I have base-coated, used Nuln Oil and started on the faces. |

First attempt in doing eyes. Quite happy I achieved it! Any advice would be great if anyone has an easy technique for human eyes. |

The eyes look good. easiest way i find is to paint the face leaving the eye sockets black. after inking the face with flesh wash paint 2 white dots in each eye socket. Doesn't matter if you get one dot bigger than the other at either the top or bottom of the eye as mistakes can be touched up with GW dark flesh (doombull brown nowadays maybe) Highlight face as normal afterwards. |

Loving Gamling's cloak, the highlights look great on it! The skin on the troll is also incredible, I wish I had the bravery to paint a model like that with so much skin! |
