Still working on Boromir Captain of the White Tower.

The writing on the banner is the official motto for Limerick City, Ireland
''An Ancient City well versed in the Arts of War'' I though it fitted with Minas Tirith perfectly

I'm thinking of using the black border to put Campaign badges,(just have to desigh a few lol)

Love the mounted Radagast conversion. Personally I would have placed the horses feet off centre so the model looked more central on the base but that doesn't take away at all from the quality of the conversion. Nicely done.

Wonderful ideas here. The standard for Boromir is fantastic, love the Limerick bit.
Radagast conversion is expertly done.

Thanks for the great comments :) I'm glad ye like the Radagast conversion. It's 1 of was working on for a while. I always loved the old Radagsat model and wanted him to be more mobile

As Limerick is my home I've wanted to put something onto a miniature for awhile now and the banner just seemed perfect.

Nice to see the old Radagast miniature mounted, not sure I've seen that before, and the banner for Boromir looks great.

I'm planning on having Gandalf, Saruman and Radagast Mounted and painted before christmas.

I'm in the middle of convertion an old mounted ringwraith into Gandalf, i don't like the sitting there pose of the current Gandalf mounted model. I always like the idea of Gandalf being in a hurry all the time, like the old Shadowfax

some of my Black Numenoreans,

I've added a Shield to the mouth of Sauron so i could give him heraldry to match the Corsairs I painted last month

Really like the converted witch-king!

Blue on evil models doesn't work for me though.
Can't get over my biased mind: blue sky - good (Dol Amroth) - red blood, evil (Morannon Orc's) :P

I went with Blue as I see these guys as Traitors of Numenor and i want them to stand apart from my other finished evil army the Morannon orc's who are all red

I did a simple set of conversions for the Marshal (Witch-king) and Banner bearer (Mouth of Sauron) with some spare shileds from the plastic Morgul knights

I personally like the blue. It shows the fact they are traitors of Numenor as you say quite nicely. I wouldn't put blue on my evil characters but it fits well with the story.

I thought it was fitting as I had painted the Numenorean Specter in Blue and brown and when i decided to touch up the Mouth of Sauron I carried on the theme and just expanded it across the rest of the force.
