This is going to be a repaint. I stripped the paint off and removed the original Green stuff cloak I made and am using the cape bitz from 40k (?) with a little bit of green stuff.

From what I can see this looks really nice, I can't wait to see it painted. Would it be possible to see the miniature from the front?

Strider all primed and ready for a base coat. Also, as promised, a front shot. I forgot to mention, the cloak I added had no wrinkles on the front side so I added one under the sword arm with green stuff. It turned out much better than I anticipated. It is amazing what a little green stuff sausage can do!

I think it looks great from the front too. The cloak really bulks out the figure and makes Aragorn look slightly more imposing, I always disliked how this particular miniature made the hero look a little lithe.

I added the base coat today. The eyes aren't very visible so I am going to work on the whites of his eyes before I add washes and highlights.

Washes, shadows and NMM applied. I promise, for the final shots, I will break out my high end lights and photo equipment.

Oh, if someone has NMM pointers, I always appreciate those. I've read a lot of tutorials, and watched a lot of videos, and anyone who has seen my work on Reaper minis page know that I have some exposure to NMM, but I am always looking for pointers and tips.
