It's not bad. Personally I am not a huge fan of the white robes or whatever you want to call it. The contrast is nice but it draws my eyes away from the chestplate, helm and other cool bits of the model |

I'm with James, I feel instead of white a muted cream colour looks much better. |

I also agree with the aboves. A grey or blue or a cream will likely do the overall paint scheme justice. When I painted up my Fountain Guard, I painted those parts a dark blue. So if we've moved you to paint the robes a different colour, go for a muted scheme. Then make the armour a very bright and contrasted tone to make it stand out. Good work so far though |

The picture isn't good but for me it looks better than the white. |

If you could lower the light level it'd be helpful. It's hard to see it clearly but what I can looks better. Are you going to embellish the chest piece at all? I did gold for the tree and edging on it but a brighter silver would also look great |

if you wanted them to be tied in with the rangers, then choose one color from their scheme and have it shown on the FCG. As for the white tunic they wear, if you liked it or even with the cream (think they meant more of a softer white/tan like iraqi sand), edge it with the color from the rangers. As for your test model: Make the feathers on the helm - feathers. I would advise not matching the color of the feathers with the color of the tunic. |
