Halvarn the Reiver becomes the newest member to join the crew of the Glaurung, but not everyone is pleased about it... The full story and a few more picks are on my blog: http://therenaissancetroll.blogspot.co. ... urung.html You can catch up on all the progress I've made so far on this page: http://therenaissancetroll.blogspot.co. ... urung.html |

This looks really good... the lore you've made for him is also quite nice. You've declared him from Snowbourne - LOTRO player by any chance? |

The eighth hero has just been accepted into the crew of the Glaurung, and the first not to be represented by a Lord of the Rings figure... You can read the full story of Galinor of Pelargir here: http://www.therenaissancetroll.blogspot.co.uk/ And catch up on all the whole campaign here: http://www.therenaissancetroll.blogspot ... urung.html Vandal Cabbage- nope, never played LOTR online. There just aren't that many settlements in Rohan that Tolkien actually named! |

That is a nice addition to the team, very fitting figure. Where did you get it from and have you converted it in any way ? |

The miniature is from a kickstarter by Mierce Miniatures. I friend gave it to me. I think it will be available for general release soon if it isn't already. I replace the sword blade. It was huge and silly looking (and bendy resin). I replaced it with the blade from a Wargames Factor Orc sword. I must say, I'm not tempted to replace all of my resin sword blades with plastic ones. It's just such a better material. |

I really like the figure. Not a big fan of resin. I think the style does match well with LOTR. Nice job. |
