hello everyone,

I have been on this site for around a year now never done a lot with it to be honest, I was more busy painting models and stuff like that. I am in the hobby for approximately 2 and a half years. I have signed my self in for the diorama challenge, and I will try to remake a part of Lake-Town. It is required to show a WiP so it was a great excuse for me to start making my own WiP and show some of my other minatures. I have got a lot of models for a person who is 2 and half years in the hobbit (got from almost every force at least 40 models (except for Harad never started a force with them :( ). here are some models I have been working on from the Hobbit range:

Image (my unfinished warband from Tauriel)

Image (thranduil and 10 palace guards)

Image (legolas his warband)

Image(grimhammer warband with a small conversion to the captian making him a captian of Erebor)

Image (warriors of dale with a converted captian)

Image ( a warband with Thror and Thrain)

I am sorry for the not so good quality pictures made them with my phone as its the only camera I have. If you guys want some more detailed pictures of the models itself leave a comment and a C & C is always welcome

kind regards,

Bart

Post subject:  Re: wotn WiP updated 26-1-2014 war mumak

hey guys it is time for an update :)

yesterday I bought an Helms Deep model I already began giving Helms Deep a lighter drybush, wich will need some refining (such as the deeping wall and the gate. I have bought lots of Rohan metals lately and im currently waiting on my order with (erkenbrand, Gamling with royal banner, 8 royal guards mounted, 3x royal guard on foot and Eowyn). But to let you guys know that I have n't been doing nothing i have painted up some haradrim raiders and serpent riders al the mumak crew, 5 sons of Eor,l Rohan Banner mounted, Theodred and Theoden ft and mtd.

here are some pictures I hope you enjoy them :)

The deeping wall wich definitly needs to be longer and needs to turn to the right area.

some of the miniatures I have painted

Theoden looks better in real than on the picture

Also for al the people that live in or near The Netherlands around Kings Day (28th of April) we will be playing the Helms Deep battle with this castle in Games Workshop Amersfoort.

Post subject:  Re: wotn WiP updated 25-3-2014 Helms Deep

What a magnificent piece!! Don't be self-effacing your Theoden is really good, I am very fond of his skin tone; your Grimbold is also great :-D .

I also have some comments regarding your earlier posts. You make some very effective conversions, and I like the personal touch you've added to some models, like the Mirkwood Spiders, and the Mumak.

I am looking forward to more WIPs, and let us know how the battle turns out (you might consider making a separate thread about it in the Events section of the forums).

Immense terrain piece, the photo looking up from ground level truly captures the scale of this thing.
Sits down and stares into space with a wishful look and quietly mumbles, if only........
